Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

Your Desert Trip from Marrakech in 4 Days starts with an early pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech as you begin your journey through the High Atlas Mountains. Driving through  the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, you will enjoy stunning panoramic views, small Berber villages, and beautiful landscapes, with several stops along the way to take photos and relax. You will then arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional clay village and UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can walk through its narrow streets and discover its rich history. After some free time for lunch, you continue to Ouarzazate, known for its film studios and desert scenery, before heading through the Valley of Roses with its palm groves and local villages. By the end of the day, you reach the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a comfortable hotel surrounded by mountains.

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, you continue your journey through the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco as you head towards the famous Todra Gorges, where you can walk between the high canyon walls and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The trip then continues through desert areas and traditional towns like Erfoud, known for its fossils and date production. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where the Sahara Desert begins, and here you will start your camel ride across the golden sand dunes. During the trek, you will stop to watch the sunset, one of the most magical moments of the trip, before reaching your desert camp. At the camp, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music around the fire, and spend a quiet night under the stars in the heart of the desert.

Day 3: Full Day in Merzouga Desert

This day is dedicated to fully experiencing the Sahara Desert at a relaxed pace. After waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and enjoying breakfast, you will explore the area around Merzouga. You may visit nomad families living in the desert and learn about their lifestyle, as well as discover different desert landscapes including rocky areas and wide open plains. You can also visit Khamlia village, known for its traditional Gnawa music, and enjoy a unique cultural experience. In the afternoon, you have time to relax, walk in the dunes, or try activities like sandboarding. This extra day allows you to truly connect with the desert and enjoy its silence and beauty without rushing. Dinner and overnight stay in desert camp or hotel in Merzouga.

Day 4: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Marrakech

After breakfast, you leave the desert and begin your journey back to Marrakech, passing through the beautiful Draa Valley, one of the longest valleys in Morocco, full of palm trees, kasbahs, and traditional villages. You will continue to Ouarzazate for a short stop before crossing the High Atlas Mountains again. Along the way, you can enjoy the changing landscapes, take photos, and relax during the drive. By the evening, you arrive back in Marrakech, marking the end of your unforgettable Desert Trip from Marrakech in 4 Days.
